And I’m not just talking about the acronyms that get tossed around constantly. Wouldn’t it be great if there was a training academy that could get you the info you need at a price that was reasonable or say, FREE?

Today is your lucky day! Let me introduce you to Nonprofitready.org. They have over 500 courses available. Some of which are already organized into certificates so you can get all the skills related to Fundraising Essentials or Financial Management essentials together, just to name two. They have individual courses on communications and project management, among other subjects. All of the information is tailored to the nonprofit sector when it needs to be. All of it is free.

The courses are straight to the point so no wasting time because really, do you have the time to waste? Signing up for an account takes a short minute and you are good to go. It makes a great resource you can point new volunteers to so your training is consistent. Nonprofitready.org is great because they don’t overwhelm you with information right off the bat. Perfect for the volunteer who is eager but getting overwhelmed. Whether you are looking for Grant Writing training, Volunteer Communications, or Governance their courses walk you through step by step to information you can put to use immediately.

As fantastic a resource as Nonprofitready.org is, it isn’t perfect. Finding the exact course you are looking for can be a little clunky. But for the price ($0.00!) it is worth investing the extra couple of minutes to figure out the navigation and make this resource work for you.
